NAPOLEON is flattered and honored to receive the Award of a Poet, awarded to us by Zach Savich, sponsored by his publisher Black Ocean.
With these awards, Zach reminds us of the importance of community. We need our artistic tools and mediums, we need our studios, but just as much we need each other; to inspire, to challenge, to support.
These awards honoring some of the forces that increase and uphold one’s inordinate expectations for imaginative presence, seek to illuminate the peripheral literary (and extraliterary) connections that surround a book of poetry.
