Phases of Reflection

A site-responsive work by Kathryn J Armstrong organized by NAPOLEON member Marc Blumthal

Phases of Reflection investigates memory as impermanent encounter that is often difficult to record. Being uncertain of what will happen next allows the artist to simultaneously leave the past, while moving towards the future. It is within this loose framework that new possibilities are discovered and materials become a language to depict the fleeting moment.
