Shelf Life

A solo-show by our Fourth Open Call Winner Eunjung Park

Eunjung Park is interested in the sense of ‘rightness’ people strive for when arranging the objects and spaces around them–from furniture in a room to knick-knacks on a coffee table.  Using the shelf as a symbol for the spaces in which such arrangements happen, Park examines how this sense of ‘rightness’ forms, how it differs from one individual to another, and how it fades over time.
